June 13; Day 28/18

Friday the 13th is our lucky day. We woke up to absolutely clear blue skies and cold crisp mountain air. It was 28 degrees and there was a heavy layer of frost on the bikes. Perfect weather for mountain gazing.

Tetons were FANTASTIC.
The mountains were covered in fresh covering of snow.
Beautiful!!

An early morning balloon ride.

In Yellowstone we were welcomed by the local greeting committee of bison. They were in the Old Faithful parking lot and were causing traffic congestion. They paid absolutely no attention to the cars trying to get by. It was a little unnerving on the bikes because we did not know what they were going to do.

Old Faithful irrupted right on time. Actually the rangers post a time +/- 10 minutes.
